Spring is finally here!

I can’t believe how time flies. I’ve been working on baking, gardening, researching recipes, simple house tasks, knitting at night. There is always something that needs attention.

I’ve repotted all the plants that I stored in the garage for the winter. The begonias, dahlias, canna lilies, gerber daisies all have new soil. I’ve planted more day lilies. The seedlings in the shed have begun to sprout. Yes, I say, “Good Morning!” to all the seedlings while I water them. Herbs and lettuces are sprouting beautifully.

Been test baking for the April and May selections. I’m really excited about my new adventures. The Star Breads are flavorful, tender, and delicious. The Nutella® Knots are totally addictive. My family and neighbors really like them. Nana’s Easter Bunny Breads are sweet, tender, and evoke such lovely memories of my childhood.

Kevin comes home today for a few days. We will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday. Didn’t brine my brisket this year. Purchased a corned beef. Well, maybe next year.

Back outside today to finish gardening.

Looking forward to sharing lots of new baked treats.
