Spring

The weather is certainly not cooperating with my desire to be in the garden. However, nature is winning! My lilacs are in full bloom. The Lily of the Valley are in bloom. The Iris are beginning to show some exquisite color. I LOVE the Spring. It’s full of color and beauty and PROMISE! My morning joy is taking my cup of coffee with me and checking in on what is newly sprouting.

I’m baking breads, tarts, and other treats. Love feeling the dough and watching it rise. Dough and Spring bring me such pleasure.

My addiction for fabric and sewing continues. I’ve created several new napkins with some gorgeous fabrics. There are napkins for tea time, patriotic holidays, magical gnomes, spring flowers, autumn leaves, stained glass, exotic peacocks, and many others.

I am so grateful for so many blessings in my life. 2022 is a great year for me. Friends, family (by blood and by choice), and 35 years married to my best friend.
