It’s May!!

Ready to Bake Cinnamon Buns

I am in seventh heaven. Freeze warnings are done!! I can play in the garden. Getting out there today to plant veggies. Bringing out the plants that we stored in the garage for the winter. Time to enjoy the outside!!

The beginning of May also brings my birthday. How is it that I am going to be 62? I feel the energy I have had all my life. I still yearn to learn everything I can everyday. My bones, joints, wrinkles and gray hair remind me that there has been a lot of living on this body. However, I am 7 years cancer free, happy to enjoy everyday, and blessed with family and friends that love me. So, who’s complaining about the wear and tear on this old body!!

Making my favorite Cinnamon Buns this week. They are a fan favorite as well. Rich, fragrant, soft, sweet, pillowy, tender, and full of sweet Vietnamese Saigon Cinnamon. They are so amazing that I’m sure that they’ll make a perfect breakfast or treat for anyone who needs a reminder of the sweetness of life.

Delightful fabric has also been calling my name. I know I have a problem. That problem’s name is FABRIC!! The texture and colors of the cotton fabric need to be spread around my tables. So, napkins are the way that I excuse my addiction. There are Spring, Summer, Autumn and other fabrics that have become napkins. Check out what’s available in the shop.
