It’s been a long time!!

Hi!!  It’s me, the long, lost lady who bakes.  It’s been an exhausting 9 months.  Several of you have called, texted and emailed me to check in.  I can’t express enough gratitude I feel to know that you were thinking about me.  THANK YOU doesn’t come close but THANK YOU!!

To answer your questions:

What happened?  The long story is too upsetting.  The short story is that my family experienced medical crises that took me to NJ for weeks, Brooklyn, NY for over a month, and at home to face cancer with our four-legged daughter, Olive.

Is everything ok?  Yes, right now, at this moment in time, (my new mantra) all is well.

Is there anything (I/we) can do to help? We have survived and come out on the other side of the drama.  We are fine and do not need any assistance.

It has taken this amount of time for me to experience and digest all the events.  I have been distracting myself with sewing projects and have once again gotten back into the kitchen.  The fragrance of sourdough bread always makes me calm.  The embroidery projects have allowed me to stretch my sewing skills and given me a lot of joy.  I will also be selling some new embroidered products: Coasters, Placemats, Mug Rugs and more.  The napkins that are listed are still available.  They make great gifts for the holidays.

So, for the immediate future, I will be once again baking for my business.  I will begin my sales of trays now, to have pickup of trays in December.  The holiday cookie trays are always popular.  The trays of 3 dozen cookies will include some popular traditional delights and will once again introduce a couple/few new tasty treats.

I plan to hold classes after the new year. I’ll post to my calendar when those classes will be.

Thank you for all the positive and loving messages, visits, and calls.

I treasure those more than I could come close to being able to fully express.

The shop is open for Holiday Cookie Trays.

You can place your order for your trays and then choose your pickup date.

So, at this moment in time, all is well with my family. I wish you the best of experiences and happiness throughout this season.
