An Incredible Journey!

Baking has become my obsession. Sweet and savory treats consume my thoughts. I love the affirmations of my customers. I seem to be on a journey of growth. (Get it? Yeast makes bread grow!!) My attempts at humor are like over-proofed breads; flat!

This journey has taken me on many new explorations. A trip to Seattle for the King Arthur Bread Academy, San Francisco for the perfect sourdough, the Internet for learning more about cultural breads and pastries. I’m heading to the West Coast and Phoenix for my next adventure.

I am looking forward to holding classes again soon. I miss the fun of interacting directly with my students. Hopefully, this pandemic will end and I will feel that the safety of my family is good. Until then, I will continue on the baking, sewing, and spice creating journey I walk today.
